Atlantic Fintech, working with the Government of Canada and the governments of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador, is thrilled to lead an Atlantic Canadian delegation to Fintech Meetup Europe in Lisbon, Portugal, taking place 6-8 October 2026. We are seeking applications from Atlantic Canadian fintech companies for one of the 8 available spots. The application form can be found here. Applications are open until June 12, 2026.​

What is Fintech Meetup?

The inaugural 2026 Fintech Meetup Europe replicates the successful format of Fintech Meetup USA.  This conference focuses on facilitating meetings and connections by leveraging proprietary matching algorithms that deliver results. Every meeting is matched and scheduled for you.  It draws from across the entire fintech ecosystem, covering over 130 categories of services and solutions. 

In addition to meetings, there are presentations from industry thought leaders as well as content around the latest innovations, trends and technologies disrupting payments, and banking and financial services.

What can I expect from participating?

Participating companies can expect up to 24 double opt-in 15-minute arranged meetings with industry leaders and professionals.  In addition, through this delegation, companies can access 3-5 hosted meetings with senior buyers from banks, financial institutions, retailers, and merchants.

Companies participating in this mission will receive:

  • One ticket per company (Value ~$2000 CAD/ticket); 

  •          3-5 hosted meetings (value $4000 CAD)

  •          Up to 24 double opt-in meetings

  •       Ability to buy additional tickets for team members at a discounted rate

Cost to participate:  $500+ tax CAD for one ticket; Second ticket per company available for $300 + tax (limited number).  For more than 2 tickets, please contact us for a discounted rate.

Total Value over $6,000 CAD.

Companies are responsible for their own travel-related costs.​

If your company is Canadian but based outside of Atlantic Canada, you can join our Canadian delegation through a special discounted rate of  €600 + VAT (approximately €740 or $1200 CAD).  A discounted rate on hosted meetings is also available. Apply here.
