Atlantic Canada Is Coming: 2026 Delegation to Fintech Meetup Europe

Atlantic Fintech is proud to announce its official delegation to the inaugural Fintech Meetup Europe, taking place October 6–8, 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal, showcasing four homegrown innovators ready to connect, partner, and scale on the global stage.

The Atlantic Fintech Delegation

Representing the strength and innovation of Atlantic Canada’s fintech ecosystem:

  • Innovatia – a Canadian company helping financial organizations close the gap between strategy and execution, giving people the knowledge, skills and processes to adopt new technology, work differently and deliver measurable change at scale.

  • Particle Capital – an Atlantic-based firm that represents AI enabled fintech solutions for financial institutions.

  • PayTic – the Intelligent Operating Platform for payment operations helping banks, fintechs, payment processors, and merchant enterprise build, run, and operate modern payment operations with greater control, visibility, and operational efficiency.

  • Weevva – a Canadian decision intelligence fintech that helps organizations make better decisions from fragmented and difficult to interpret data, combining verification, fraud detection, financial signals and contextual intelligence into clear, explainable decision support.

Together, they embody what Atlantic Canada does best: practical, scalable solutions built by teams that understand real-world problems.

Why This Matters

This isn’t just about attending a conference. It’s about positioning Atlantic Canada as a serious, investable fintech region –and proving it through deals, relationships, and visibility.

  • Global access for Atlantic builders. Fintech Meetup Europe’s meetings-led model gives Atlantic companies direct access to 2,500+ senior leaders from banks, fintechs, retailers, and investors - curated into up to 24 pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings plus hosted buyer sessions.

  • From local credibility to international traction. Every meeting is a chance to turn Atlantic innovation into European pilots, partnerships, and revenue.

  • Signal to the market. A coordinated, branded delegation tells the world: Atlantic Canada is organized, ambitious, and open for business in fintech.

  • Ecosystem momentum. Missions like this create a flywheel - more visibility, more partners, more talent, more capital flowing back into the region.

This delegation is supported in part through the Atlantic Trade and Investment Growth Agreement, a federal/provincial agreement between the Government of Canada and the governments of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
