Atlantic Canada Winners for Toast Top 25 Women in Tech 2025

The Toast Top 25 Women in Tech - Toast in partnership with BetaKit - is Canada’s new spotlight on the powerhouse women who are moving our tech world forward. This isn’t just about founders or coders. It’s about celebrating the impact these women are making, as they build a fintech or innovate a technology, mentor new leaders, create space for others and shake up big systems from the inside.

Women are changing Canadian tech at every level. This list is for all the trailblazers making tech smarter, kinder, and more future-ready. More than 1,000 women were nominated. Four women from Atlantic Canadian companies were announced as finalists; two were named winners. We’re beyond proud that both Alicia Roisman Ismach and RajyaLakshmi (Rajya) Kotamraju made Canada’s Top 25 Women in Tech for 2025 - further proof of Atlantic Canada’s strength, leadership, and vision that are driving the fintech sector forward.

Alicia is all about community, connection, and big impact. She’s launched and scaled global fintechs, led with vision and generosity, and is famous for opening doors and building pathways - locally and internationally. Alicia brings people together, champions diversity, and helps founders find their way (and their people).

Rajya builds bridges from India to Wall Street to Moncton. She doesn’t just innovate - as CTO of SnapB2B , she patents tech and architects products that put Atlantic Canada on the map. Her passion for mentorship, especially for women rising in technical leadership, sets new standards for inclusion across the ecosystem.

We’re so proud of Alicia, Rajya, and our entire community of visionary women. Here in Atlantic Canada, innovation and leadership aren’t just buzzwords - it’s at the core of who we are. And with leaders like Alicia and Rajya at the forefront, it’s powerfully clear: they’re building what’s next together.
